We provide cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention for all physician-referred individuals from London and Southwestern Ontario having documented coronary heart disease. Clients served are those who have had a heart attack, have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery or angioplasty, valve replacement, heart transplant or have exertional cardiac angina.

The Cardiac Fitness Institute serves over 2,300 cardiac patients.
The CFI is located in London, Ontario and serves more than 2,300 cardiac patients from Owen Sound to Windsor. The CFI's Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Program aims to reduce health care costs and improve patient health through identification and intervention where needed on modifiable coronary heart disease risk factors (blood lipids, blood pressure, smoking, blood sugar, stress, physical inactivity). The Program also aims to restore, improve and maintain the maximally attainable functional capacity of program participants and identify safe exertional limits for a return to a satisfying lifestyle and work.
